I am a junior in the College of Biological Sciences majoring in neuroscience. I am an international student from India and am passionate about social justice and environmental conservation. I am currently a Community Advisor for an Honors Living Learning Community at Middlebrook Hall, a research assistant in the Department of Medicine and I also volunteer in a research lab in the Neuroscience Department. I want to eventually pursue a career in surgery, with an emphasis on clinical research.

What do you like most about MML?

I enjoy being a part of this community of highly-motivated and conscientious pre-medical students. I am passionate about social justice and science and medicine, and this group bridges the gap between those two fields very well. I love engaging in conversations about social justice pertaining to health and healthcare with my peers. I value the opportunity for professional and personal development and challenging dormant ideas that this group provides.
