Michael Sobin  --  Alumni

Michael is a senior in the College of Biological Sciences majoring in Biology and minoring in psychology. He has worked in the Stephens Animal Behavior Lab researching the effect of time on foraging choices in blue jays and starlings. He has also been working at the Medical College of Wisconsin GI department researching esophageal motility. He is also a music teacher for kids at Mount Zion Temple in St. Paul.

Michael is an avid guitar player and an executive board member of the Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity at Minnesota. He is currently interested in becoming a doctor in emergency medicine, surgery, or whatever it is J.D. from Scrubs does.

What is a problem or issue in health care that you would like to address as a physician?

"How can we truly make health care a universal right? As a future physician and medical leader, I strive to answer this question and learn the blockades for this issue. Hopefully, I can be a part of the solution for giving every human being the medical care they deserve."
