What is the most meaningful experience you've had as a pre-medical student thus far?

"A meaningful experience that I've had was when a guest lecturer shared his story about battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia in my Humanistic Healthcare & Communication class. His story shows how medicine can be individualized to each patient which creates an atmosphere that is full of compassion. His story shows that you can leave a lasting impact on each patient with just basic communication and listening skills which has inspired me greatly."
